Paneer Butter Masala
- 250gms Paneer
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2 Onion (Chopped)
- 10 Red Chili
- 3 Tomato (Chopped)
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts
- 3 tsp Ghee / Butter
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- Kasuri Methi
- Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- 50gms Unsweetened Khoa (optional)
- 3 tablespoon Milk
- 2 Tablespoon Fresh Cream
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt as per taste
Heat some oil in a kadai, add onions, red chilies, tomatoes, ginger, cashews and sauté till they are completely cooked.
Add salt and water to help them cook faster.
Let the ingredients cool down and grind them into a smooth paste.
In the same kadai heat some ghee / butter, add red chili powder.
Pour in the grinded paste and add garam masala, salt, coriander leaves and kasuri methi in it.
Let it simmer for about 15 minutes on low flame.
Add cream, koya (grind it with some milk to get a fine paste) and mix it well.
Add sliced paneer and stir it well for about 5 minutes.
Turn off the stove garnish with some coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti or butter naan.
