Healthy Chilli Chicken, not Fried in 45 minutes!August 4, 2020
Chilli Chicken consists cholesterol but it also contains that supports in reducing cholesterol. So, if you pick a pieces & eat it without dropping butter or oil, it would be healthy for heart.
Ingredients to be kept ready:
- 650gms Boneless Chicken
- 2tbsp Garlic
- 11/2tbsp Ginger
- 1tbps Green chili
- 1tsp Salt
- 2tbsp Chili sauce
- 3tsp Ketchup
- 1tbsp Soya sauce
- 2 glass Water
- 2tbsp Corn flour
- 1 cup Chicken stock
- 2tsp Vinegar
- 3tbsp Oil
- 2 Onions (roughly chopped)
- 2 Bell pepper (roughly chopped)
- Spring onions (finely chopped) for garnishing
Take a pressure cooker, add chicken, 1 glass water, 1/2 tsp salt, vinegar and cover the pressure cooker.
Cook until you 1 whistle.
Remove it from flame. Open the pressure cooker once the pressure is released.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pot, chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
Add chopped bell pepper and mix it well.
Cook for 7-10 minutes on medium flame.
Remove it from flame and keep aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a same pot , add the boiled chicken and mix it well.
Cook until it turns golden brown in colour.
Remove it from heat and keep aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a another pan, add garlic, ginger and stir well.
Then, add the cooked vegetables and mix it well.
Add chopped green chillies, 1/2 tsp salt and mix it well.
Add chili sauce, ketchup, soya sauce and mix it again.
Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
Now, add 1 glass of water in it and mix it very nicely.
Bring it to a boil.
In a bowl, add corn flour, chicken stock and mix it well.
Pour the mixture into the pot and mix it well again.
Bring it to a boil.
Now, add the cooked chicken and mix it very well.
Cook for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
Remove the chilli chicken from flame.
Garnish it with spring onions.
Serve it hot.
