Healthy Paneer Stuffed Paratha – Serves 3September 29, 2020
Paneer Stuffed Paratha
Ingredients to Keep ready:
- 2 cups Wheat Flour
- 2cups All Purpose Flour / Maida
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- Water as required to knead the dough
- 250gms. Paneer
- 1 Onions
- 1 teaspoon Green chilli
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dry mango powder / Amchur powder
- 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain seeds / Carom seeds
- Freshly Chopped Coriander leaves
In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, add all purpose flour / Maida, add oil, 1 tsp salt, water as required to knead a smooth soft dough.
Rest the dough for about 30 minutes.
In a another bowl, add paneer, add finely chopped onions, addfinely chopped green chillies, add1/2 tsp salt, add red chilli powder, add dry mango powder / amchur powder, add roasted cumin powder, add Ajwain seeds / carom seeds, freshly chopped coriander leaves and mix it well.
Take a ball from the dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
Now spread the paneer stuffing on it.
And start folding it into strips and roll back it into round shape.
Dust with some wheat flour and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin and make a circle.
Now, place it on a hot tawa and cook on medium flame for 3 minutes.
Flip it gently and spread some ghee over it.
Cook for another 3 minutes.
Then, flip it again and spread some ghee on other side too.
Cook it until it turns brown from both side.
Serve the Paneer Stuffed Paratha with acchar / pickle or your favourite Raita.
