Paneer Pulao in an Amazing way!July 28, 2020
- 250gms Paneer
- 1 cup Basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
- 2 Onions (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
- 1 cup Carrots
- 1 cup French Beans
- 1 cup Fresh Green Peas
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 tablespoon Garam masala
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 2 tablespoon Ghee
- Chopped Mint leaves
- Chopped Coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 Bay leaf
- 3 Cardamom
- 3 Cloves
- 8 Black Pepper seeds
- Small Cinnamon stick
- Water as required
- Salt as per taste
In a pan add oil and fry the paneer pieces till they are golden brown in colour.
Soak the basmati rice for about 30 minutes.
In a pressure cooker add some oil and ghee, roast all the whole spices in it until you get the aroma of them.
Add onions and green chilies and fry them till they are golden brown in colour.
Add the chopped vegetables and sauté it.
Add mint leaves and coriander leaves and sauté it (keep some for garnishing).
Add garam masala, lemon juice, and fried paneer pieces and mix gently.
Add the soaked basmati rice and add enough water and pressure cook it until one whistle.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and some mint leaves.
Serve it hot.
